Bahrain, March 2: Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom services provider in Bahrain, has launched a customized communications service to meet the needs of hearing-impaired, using superior technology visual aids to communicate with these customers.
Zain Bahrain is trying to meet the needs of people with special needs by joining forces with the Bahrain Deaf Society and training a member of the hearing-impaired community to take his place alongside other service professionals in the Zain Bahrain Video Call Center.
“This is a major step forward towards integration of people with special needs into our society,” said Fatima Dhaif, Zain Bahrain’s customer support manager.
“The hearing-impaired can contribute richly to society and we are delighted that with the co-operation of the Bahrain Deaf Society and our leading-edge technology, we are able to open new communication channels for the hearing-impaired through our Video Call Center.”
She said that Zain Bahrain’s rich suite of products and services include MMS, video telephony and Internet services that offer the hearing-impaired an unmatched visual access to the world of telecommunications.
