Aqeel Qureshi
Aqeel Qureshi is an Access Consultant, Manager of Disability News Asia and Disability News India (DNI). He has 10 years of experience working with disability organizations and he is a Post Graduate in Computer Science and Bachelor Degree in Commerce (B. Com) from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India.
He selected for 4th Duskin Leadership Training in Japan, one-year Training Course on Disability and trained on Universal Design, Barrier– Free Environment and Assistive Technology. He is a disability rights activist and a professional working for Accessibility.
As a disability rights campaigner, his aim has been to build awareness of disability issues from a rights-based perspective, as well as focusing on policy advocacy. He has actively advocated for the rights of people with disability in the areas of accessibility of public places and accessible public transportation, web accessibility.
