Yemen participates in Arab Conference on Disability
SANA'A, July 13– Yemen, represented by a delegation from the
National Union of Yemeni Disabled Organization (NUYDO), participates in
the Arab Conference on Disability scheduled in Cairo on July14 ? 17.
Head of NUYDO's information and cultural department Abdul–Wase'a Mujalli,
the head of the delegation stated to Saba that he would present Yemen's
vision on means and ways used by those who take care of the disabled
people.
"Yemen's experience over establishing a fund for taking care of and
qualifying disabled as unique one will be introduced for it is the only
fund in Arab countries that supports activities of special needs people,
" said Mujalli.
He noted that the conference would discus a number of researches and
reports concerning disability's role in field of education and health
care. He added that studies and researches of a number of participating
physicians on this regard would be reviewed.
