July 19: Iran is crowned the champ in world paralympic volleyball contests in the US state of Oklahoma after defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-2.

The Iranian sitting volleyball team had stepped up to the final round by overcoming Egypt.

The Iranian athletes had also trounced Ukraine, China, Kazakhstan and Serbia.

Iran's back-to-back wins in the competitions have been highly acclaimed by the US sports community.

Iranian expats in Oklahoma who wildly cheered Iranian volleyball players during the games played a key role in their victory.
