YANGON, Dec 13: A 55-member Myanmar disabled persons delegation came to the 6th ASEAN Para Game in Solo of Indonesia in a bid to gain international experience, according to the sports circle Monday.

The competition will run until next Thursday.

The Myanmar participants will race in track and field, swimming, table tennis, badminton, chess for blind people and volleyball for disabled people.

The delegation led by Vice-President Col Myo Myint of Myanmar Parasports Federation left for Indonesia on Sunday.

Myanmar not only holds domestic sports competitions for mentally-challenged persons but also sends them abroad for international events.
