MUSCAT, Nov 10: The Social Development Ministry (SDM) is representing the Sultanate in the 2nd Theatre Festival for Disabled in the GCC countries to be held during November 11-15 in Sharjah, UAE. Alias al Bulushi, member of the festival’s organising committee will lead the official Sultanate delegation.

The Sultanate’s participation in the festival stems from the Social Ministry’s faith that the theatre can play an important role in increasing the public awareness on the issues of the people with disabilities and the great potentials that they can unleash if given the chance and attention.

Noteworthy, the Sultanate participated in the 1st Theatre Festival for Disabled which was held in the Qatari capital of Doha in November 2008.
